DevOps Engineer for IDM (fm)

The company Deutsche Telekom Technik GmbH is a 100 percent subsidiary of Telekom Deutschland GmbH and provides the nationwide technical infrastructure of the group. Around 19000 employees at DT Technik plan design build and operate the facilities and systems of the technical infrastructure nationwide on behalf of Telekom Deutschland GmbH. The company implements network projects operates the network technology and if necessary takes over the maintenance of the technical infrastructure.

We are looking for a committed and motivated colleague to join the Identity management team as a DevOps engineer

This position is full-time and based in Prague.

What you will do

As a System engineer you are managing/improving our systems.

• Manages and monitors all installed systems
• Support migration of Kubernetes-based and legacy applications to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) specifically Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
• Migrate deployment processes from GitLab CI/CD pipelines to Argo CD for continuous delivery
• Ensures the highest level of systems and infrastructure availability
• Adapt and extend monitoring and alerting solutions to fit the cloud environment
• Set up and maintain build pipelines for automated application delivery
• Analyze and resolve issues and incidents in both test and production environments
• Collaborates with other professionals to ensure high quality deliverables within organization guidelines policies and procedures

Required knowledge and skills

• Self lerning mentality and (proprietary) application operation experiences
• very high Kubernetes usage skills
• high bash and Linux skills
• medium GoogleCloud skills
• medium ArgoCD skills
• medium Helm skills
• medium database skills with focus to SQL (Oracle/Postgres)
• German language is highly welcome but not mandatory
• Solaris knowledge welcome but not mandatory
