Visiting Professor, Psychology

Position Summary
The Gannon University College of Humanities Education and Social Sciences invites applications for two Visiting Faculty in the Department of Psychology specialization open to begin in August 2026 on the Ursuline College campus of Gannon University in Pepper Pike Ohio. If the anticipated merger between Ursuline College and Gannon University has not taken place by the start date for these positions the faculty will instead be hired by Ursuline College. The successful candidates will teach Introductory Psychology and other courses in their area of expertise advise students and prepare them intellectually professionally and personally and will be expected to engage in scholarly activities in keeping with the Boyer Model of Scholarship as is appropriate to the application and receipt of promotion at Gannon. Requirements include a masters degree or Ph.D. (preferred) in Psychology or related discipline with demonstrated teaching excellence in higher education. ABD candidates may also be considered. Must be able to meet the physical demands associated with a busy academic environment and necessary travel. Work is performed in a busy classroom and office setting.

Required Qualifications
Education: A masters degree or Ph.D. (preferred) in Psychology or related discipline.
