Schedule: Monday to Friday 40 hours/week
Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Knowledge of the principles and skills needed for nursing care examination diagnostic and treatment room procedures. Knowledge of medications and their effects patient education principles to develop a self-care program instruments and common safety practices.
Job Duties:
Provides compassionate patientcentered nursing care in an outpatient neurology setting involving patients and families in care decisions.
Assesses plans delivers and documents nursing care including patient education and followup in the electronic medical record.
Coordinates care and communicates pertinent patient information with providers and the multidisciplinary care team to support safe highquality outcomes.
Reviews and appropriately responds to diagnostic laboratory and clinical findings per clinic protocols.
Utilizes evidencebased practice organizational policies and professional standards in practice.
Participates in quality improvement activities required education competencies and certifications.
Demonstrates accountability maintains effective communication and supports clinic operations and patient flow.
Delegates and oversees care tasks as appropriate and performs other duties as assigned.
