We are seeking aDirector of Teaching and Learning. The Director is a visionary leader who is knowledgeable of best practices related to teaching and learning for grades PK-12 The Director must be focused on student learning; understand the change process; able to promote and sustain quality curriculum and programs centered on student achievement and teacher development; a team player able to develop meaningful relationships with internal and external stakeholders; able to motivate delegate build consensus and positively influence the professional growth of others.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Level: A minimum of masters or specialist degree in educational administration or the accepted equivalent is required. Preferred:A doctoral degree from an approved institution with a major in educational administration.
Certification or Licensure: Nebraska Administrative CertificateEndorsement required.
Experience desired: Minimum five years as teacher is required administrative experience preferred.
Terms of Employment:Twelve (12) month 261 day contract with salary and benefits determined by Board of Education.
