As a Security Officer Educational Building Patrol Detail in Brooklyn NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol professional at a dynamic education location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas support a welcoming environment and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will perform routine patrols deliver exceptional customer service and communication and represent a team that is agile reliable innovative and guided by a caring culture teamwork and integrity.

Pay Rate: $19.35 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to students faculty staff and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures campus-specific policies and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations across the location in a calm problem-solving manner documenting activity and communicating with campus personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout academic buildings residence areas parking lots and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and help to verify authorized entry to designated areas while following site-specific protocols for visitors deliveries and after-hours activity.
• Support a professional campus environment by providing directions assisting with routine inquiries and reporting hazards maintenance concerns and/or policy-related issues to the appropriate contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
