Summary
The DX Installer will report to the Trade Manager and is responsible for installation of HVAC equipment and refrigeration piping. Incumbent must be able to install systems safely with good craftsmanship and within budget.
Essential Duties
- Assist in the installation of HVAC and refrigeration equipment including refrigeration piping condensate piping piping insulation and low voltage wiring.
- Support the Service Department in conducting all HVACR jobs promptly and
- Provide assistance in HVAC/R servicing jobs ensuring professionalism and
- Utilize basic computer skills to input necessary information for daily
- Support the Installation Departments in non-service tasks as
- Help prepare Service Tickets by collecting required information and
- Perform related duties as directed by the Service Branch
- Learn and demonstrate the proper use of Safety
- Manage time and workload effectively with
- Flexibility to work overtime/weekends and out of town as needed
Non-Essential Duties
- Engage in self-initiated learning to stay current with industry trends (webinars virtual conferences educational reading etc.).
- Accept and perform other tasks as
Experience and Education
- Minimum 1 year of related experience in the industry (either commercial residential service or installation technician) is required
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Enrollment or completion of a post-secondary HVACR program is preferred

Licenses/Certifications
- Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certification required
- Valid Florida Drivers License is required
- Incumbent must be insurable at all times by CES insurance carrier
- OSHA 10 certification preferred but not required
