Key Role & Responsibilities
- Understand market requirements keep track of projects and engage with customers to develop the opportunity
- Carry out thorough assessment of received inquiry / ITB and develop winning bid strategy in line with evaluation criteria
- Manage & coordinate the decision making to quote
- Prepare and submit technical & commercial offers to customers within assigned time and allocated budget conducting all important proposal activities
- Follow globally aligned sales processes maintaining Salesforce records
- Participate in technical & commercial evaluation with customers and convert the proposalinto a successful project award
- Participate and present Linde offerings in various conferences gather business intelligence market trends
Educations Qualifications:
/ in Chemical / Instrumentation & Controls / Electronics engineering from reputed university. MBA or equivalent in Marketing/ Finance/ Sales / General Business Management is an added advantage
Technical/Subject Knowledge required:
- Knowledge of Lindes products & technology portfolio
- Basic understanding of plant Control systems and advance automation products
- Thorough understanding in Advanced Operations solutions available in the market
- Basic knowledge of functioning of Business development and sales function
- Thorough understanding of customer requirements in the form of ITB/ RFQ
- Understanding of inputs and outputs of various Engineering functions in the solutions development / proposal development stage
- Prior experience in Sales / Project management in similar functional area (e.g. Advanced Process Control) would be an added advantage
Skill Sets:
- Can do attitude
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Coordination skills
- Familiarity with pre-qualification and tendering procedures of local and international clients/PMCs
- Basic contract and commercial skills
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills
- High level of customer focus
- Tech savvy Use of AI and digital tools in managing the day to day business
Software tools & technology:
- MS Office Outlook Teams Co-pilot
- Optional: GDMS (Documentum) Sales Force
