yes. every kid. is seeking an experienced Public Affairs Manager to support our education advocacy and public policy efforts. This role works cross functionally with research communications government affairs and digital teams to advance organizational priorities through research translation messaging media support and digital engagement.

Reporting to the Vice President of Strategy the Public Affairs Manager will proactivelyidentifyand execute opportunities to elevate our mission through content development polling insights external communications and special projects.

This is an ideal role for a public affairs or research professional passionate about education policy policy communications and strategic messaging in a fast paced mission driven environment.

How You Will Contribute:

  • Support the execution of public affairs and advocacy initiatives including content development coordination and rollout
  • Translate education research and polling data into clear compelling summaries graphics blog posts and briefing materials
  • Assistwith the preparation launch and promotion of research reports and policy insights
  • Draft edit and proofreadexternal facingcontent including blogs newsletters reports social media copy and digital assets
  • Manage and grow organizational social media presence across multiple platforms
  • Support media relations efforts including drafting press materials background memos talking points and briefing documents
  • Collaborate with communications and digital teams to ensure consistent messaging across channels
  • Provide logistical and project management support forcross teampublic affairs initiatives
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects while adapting to shifting priorities
  • Participate in limited travel for team meetings or conferences as needed

What You Will Bring:

  • Strong alignment withyes. and vision for educationpolicy

  • 57 years of experience in public affairs advocacy polling/researchgovernment affairs legislative work political campaigns or related fields

  • Strong writing editing and proofreading skills with close attention to detail

  • Experience managing social media for an advocacy organization nonprofit or campaign

  • Demonstrated ability to createvisual or graphic materialsfor external audiences

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in afastpacedenvironment

  • Excellentorganizational planning and prioritization skills

  • High levelofprofessional judgment discretion and integrity

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in aremote work environment
