The role Senior Treasury Manager Cash Transformation & Internal Funding is a member of the Treasury team of GE Vernova HQ. Treasury is responsible for GE Vernovas activities within Capital Markets Insurance Risk Pension Financial Reporting Exposure Management Trade Finance Corporate Finance Business Treasury and Transaction Services.This role reports to the Executive Exposure Management under the Deputy Treasurer.
This position is based in Dublin Ireland.
Job Description
As Senior Treasury Manager Cash Transformation & Internal Funding you will be responsible for executing on the Treasury Transformation & Governance initiatives to increase the efficiency of GE Vernovas Cash Liquidity & Funding whilst managing the Internal Funding structuring & underwriting process.
Roles and Responsibilities
Lead the transformation of Cash Management to collapse complexity eliminate redundancy promote discipline and enable an IHB foundation.
Lead the team that manages intercompany funding and external funding transactions for the Businesses and Treasury including Treasury lead for M&A transactions.
Eliminate aged cash pool positions
Lead execution on purifying the Business Legal Entity tiers resulting in a more tax efficient Legal Entity structure
Own the negative equity initiative to resolve entities in negative equity to support in simplifying Legal Entity structures.
Optimize Internal Capital Structure and implement a new forecasting model.
Support implementation of funding source masterplan/matrix for the streamlined processing of Intercompany Funding deals and reducing funding turnaround times via system & process enhancements
Support on the optimization of US discretionary liquidity vs International discretionary liquidity
Support the execution of dividend schemes
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in business administration / finance / economics or equivalent knowledge or experience
Experience in lean management principles and their application to finance processes
Demonstrated track record leading multi-discipline multi-year projects to improve accuracy and efficiency of Finance and / or treasury processes
Significant experience in corporate finance investment or treasury
