We are seeking a talented junior individual to join our Construction PI Claims team at Marsh. This role will be based in Birmingham. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to:
- Handle professional Indemnity construction claims from initial notification to resolution
- Work and negotiate with Insurers to achieve the most beneficial cost-effective settlement for Clients
- Attend and contribute to claims review meetings and renewal meetings
- Develop relationships with insurers and clients and their respective representatives
- Develop relationships with internal colleagues such as placing and client managers
What you need to have:
- Confident with client and stakeholder interaction
- Previous claims handling/insurance experience with either an Insurer or Broker or law firm (preferred but not essential)
- Strong attention to detail with a methodical and conscientious approach.
- Planning and organisational skills.
- Quick to take on-board new information which is technical in nature.
- Analytically minded with the ability to resolve complex queries.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to promote continuous improvement and respond positively to change.

- Law degree albeit not necessary
- Professional indemnity experience preferred but not essential
- Previous claims or insurance experience
- Experience of face to face client meetings
