Synechron is seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in designing developing and maintaining high-quality Java applications that support business goals and provide scalable efficient solutions. The Java Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative software solutions ensuring code quality performance and adherence to best practices.
Software Requirements
Required Software Proficiency:
Java (version 8 or higher) extensive hands-on development experience
Frameworks: Spring Hibernate Struts proven expertise in building enterprise applications
Development tools: Eclipse IntelliJ IDEA or NetBeans proficient use of at least one IDE
Databases: MySQL Oracle SQL Server strong knowledge of database design and management
Version control: Git advanced understanding for code management and collaboration
Preferred Software Skills:
Build tools: Maven or Gradle experience in build automation
Automated testing tools: JUnit TestNG experience in unit and integration testing
Containerization: Docker familiarity with containerizing applications
Cloud deployment: Experience with cloud services (Azure AWS GCP) advantageous
Overall Responsibilities
Develop test and maintain scalable Java applications ensuring high performance and security standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into robust solutions
Write clean maintainable and efficient code following best practices and coding standards
Conduct code reviews troubleshoot issues and optimize application performance
Stay updated with Java and related technology trends; incorporate relevant advancements
Document technical designs processes and code to facilitate knowledge sharing and future maintenance
Support continuous improvement by suggesting and implementing process enhancements

Programming Languages:
Essential: Java (version 8 or higher) strong proficiency in object-oriented programming
Preferred: Additional languages like JavaScript or Python for full-stack or scripting integration
Databases/Data Management:
Experience with relational databases such as MySQL Oracle SQL Server proficiency in SQL queries and optimization
Cloud Technologies:
Familiarity with deploying and managing Java applications on cloud platforms (Azure AWS GCP) advantageous
Frameworks and Libraries:
Spring Hibernate Struts skilled in enterprise application development

Optimize application performance based on monitoring insights
Maintain detailed documentation of application designs code changes and deployment procedures
Stay informed of the latest Java updates and industry best practices to enhance development efficiency
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or a related field; Masters degree preferred
Professional certifications in Java (e.g. Oracle Certified Professional Java Programmer) are a plus
