Amazon seeks a detail-oriented Financial Analyst II to join our AMZL Canada finance this role you will be responsible for financial planning 1-3 years out executing the month-end close process and leading entitlement projects that drive overall cost to serve down for our customers. Your day begins with reviewing key financial metrics and preparing performance reports that provide visibility into AMZL Canadas operations. Youll collaborate with operations teams to analyze trends and identify opportunities for improvement. Throughout the day youll toggle between tactical executionsuch as working on month-end close tasksand strategic planning activities. Youll participate in meetings with cross-functional teams where youll present financial insights and influence decisions that impact the business over the next 1-3 years.

We work as strategic partners to operations providing financial guidance that drives business performance. Each team member plays a crucial role in supporting Amazons last mile delivery network in Canada helping to scale operations efficiently while maintaining financial discipline. - 3 years of tax finance or a related analytical field experience
- 4 years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience
- 4 years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- 4 years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- 4 years of identifying leading and executing opportunities to improve automate standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience
- Bachelors degree in engineering statistics or business or Bachelors degree and 5 years of quantitative role (engineering process re-engineering quality assurance) experience
- 4 years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- MBA or CPA
- Knowledge of Tableau
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL MS Access Essbase Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle SAP Lawson JD Edwards)

The base salary range for this position is listed below. As a total compensation company Amazons package may include other elements such as sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
