Job Summary
Business Analyst
Location: PCS CA Toronto
Years of Experience: 7-10 Years
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to support business and technology initiatives across retail commercial and corporate banking domains. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders product owners and technology teams to define requirements support regulatory initiatives and ensure the successful delivery of banking solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Elicit analyze and document business requirements functional specifications and user stories aligned with banking processes.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements across core banking payments lending deposits and treasury functions.
- Translate regulatory and compliance requirements into clear actionable business and system requirements.
- Support Agile and Waterfall delivery models including backlog grooming sprint planning and UAT support.
- Maintain requirement traceability and ensure alignment between business needs and delivered solutions.
- Assist in UAT planning test case review defect triage and business sign-off.
Mandatory Skills:
- 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Banking & Financial Services.
- Hands-on experience with Agile (Scrum / SAFe) and Waterfall methodologies.
- Proficiency with tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO) JIRA Confluence or similar.
- Strong business analysis skills with a focus on banking processes.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with JAVA and JUnit.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Finance Information Technology or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in Business Analysis or Project Management are a plus.
