What will you do
We have an exciting opportunity for anAssociate Structural (Industrial / Mining & Resources)to join ourPerth WAteam.
This is a senior leadership role where you will provide technical governance and strategic direction across industrial structural programs while also driving strong commercial outcomes. You will lead project teams manage complex interfaces across disciplines coordinate delivery (including with offshore teams where required) and act as a client-facing trusted advisorsupporting pursuits shaping scopes and delivering profitable high-quality work.
What you will be doing
Lead structural delivery across majorindustrial/mining projects setting direction from concept to detailed design and construction support.
Provide technical authority and assurance:design reviews verification riskmanagementand governanceacross multiple projects.
Manage and grow client relationshipsacting as atrusted advisoron scope options riskconstructabilityand delivery strategy.
Lead teams and mentor engineers building capabilityaccountabilityand a high-performance safety-focused culture.
Drive commercial outcomes:scope/fee development resourcingprogrammeplanning margin and risk management and disciplined project delivery.
Coordinate multidisciplinary interfaces (civil mechanical piping electrical drafting/BIM) and align delivery withoffshore/distributed teamswhere.
Support work-winning through proposals tender strategy partnerengagementandidentifyingrepeat opportunities.
Here are the key things you will need to bring ideas to life:
Significant experienceleadingstructural design and deliveryforindustrial/mining infrastructure(process plants materials handling conveyor and transfer stations pipe racks heavy equipment support structural steel and concrete designfoundationsand brownfield upgrades).
Strong application ofAustralian Standardsand local construction practices includingAS/NZS 1170AS 4100AS 3600and relevant industry guidelines.
Proven leadership capability: mentoring and developing engineers coordinating multidisciplinary deliverables and providing robust technical review/assurance.
High commercial acumen with a proven record inwork winning client account leadership fee/scope negotiation delivery governance and building repeat programs of work.
Confident client-facing communicator able to influence owners EPCM/EPC partnerscontractorsand vendors with clear pragmatic advice.
Degree qualified in Civil/Structural Engineering;Chartered (CPEng).
