As a Security Officer Armed Response Patrol in Miami FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a government location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents and deliver outstanding customer service and this armed post you will support daily operations with agility reliability innovation teamwork and integrity while contributing to a caring people-first culture.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures access protocols and/or emergency response activities within a government location.
- Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner while maintaining readiness for an armed post.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings grounds parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances restricted areas and public-facing spaces documenting observations and reporting suspicious behavior hazards and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Support authorized personnel visitors and/or staff with directions screening procedures and incident information while following post orders and applicable use-of-force guidelines.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related law enforcement and/or military experience.
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
- Possess a college degree.
- Provide proof of high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a DD214 with honorable discharge an associate degree 60 college credits a police academy certificate and/or a corrections academy certificate.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
