Job Summary
Job Title: Support Staff Educational Setting
Location: Tucson AZ
Schedule:
- Monday Thursday: 7:30 AM 3:00 PM
- Friday: 7:30 AM 1:00 PM
- Total: 35 hours/week
- No weekends required
- School calendar applies; resource may be off during school breaks
Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated support staff member to assist in a blind education department. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with children and a strong ability to provide a safe and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in day-to-day activities supporting students in the classroom
- Provide guidance and support tailored to the needs of students
- Help with educational materials classroom organization and learning activities
- Monitor student progress and report observations to teaching staff
- Support students during school breaks as appropriate
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure smooth operation of the department
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow directions and work independently
- Reliable and punctual
- Adaptable to a school environment and schedule
