Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Cage Manager at the Casinos Cage Countroom and Card Control Departments.
- Support the Cage Manager with formulating and implementing the Cages policies and procedures on proper handling of cash chips and negotiable instruments.
- Interact with Accounting on the audit of the Cage Countroom and Card Control Departments.
- Support Cage Manager with ordering Gaming Chips when requested and Card Control Decks when needed.
- Participate in training and development of staff skills utilizing coaching and mentoring
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
- Adhere to all Gaming Laws and Guidelines.
- Performs all other work-related duties as assigned by the Controller and VP and General Manager.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 5 years of effective and successful management experience in a casino and/or card room
- Must have good project management skills; provide strong leadership and direction prioritize project tasks meet project deadlines and effectively communicate with personnel co-workers and subordinates.
- Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing in a diverse range of audiences and settings. Proficiency in Microsoft Suit and the ability to adapt to additional internal applications.
- Must be flexible and available to work various shifts including nights weekends and holidays.
- Must maintain confidentiality.
- Must be able to make change using American Monetary units.
- Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
EDUCATION/FORMAL TRAINING
- A High School diploma or a General Education Degree
- Bachelors degree preferred
REASONING ABILITY
- Ability to determine and shift priorities quickly
- Ability to examine issues both strategically and tactically
- Ability to carry out detailed tasks and projects with minimal direction or supervision.
- This position requires the ability to problem solve complex situations in an effective and efficient manner.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Ability to read write and speak in English
- Ability to speak a second language is preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive working relationships
- Ability to express complex concepts in a clear manner
- Ability to express ideas clearly and succinctly in letters memos and reports
CERTIFICATES LICENSES REGISTRATIONS
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Gardena Police Department Work Permit
- Must be able to obtain & maintain a State of California Key Employee License.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Visual acuity (8-10 hours viewing computer)
- Work in an enclosed and busy area.
- Must have the ability to safely lift a minimum of 12 pounds
- Must be able to concentrate in an intense fast-paced environment with numerous distractions
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Adult content environment
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- 24-hour operation with a very fast paced environment
- Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud
