Adair County Elementary School
Adair County Elementary School is seeking a dedicated and student-centered Classroom Teacher to join our tribe. The ideal candidate is passionate about supporting the academic social and emotional growth of all students while fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.
Position Overview:
The Classroom Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in foundational subject areas to students in grades 35. This role includes creating a structured supportive classroom environment where all students can thrive and achieve success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement engaging standards-aligned instruction based on the Kentucky Academic Standards
- Develop and deliver effective lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of learners
- Manage classroom behavior and establish a positive inclusive culture
- Analyze student data to inform instruction and develop targeted growth plans
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly
- Communicate effectively with students families and staff
- Collaborate with colleagues to support school-wide goals and initiatives
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and flexibility in meeting student needs
