CT Technologist Mammography Focus

Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT examinations following established protocols ensuring high quality diagnostic images.
- Conduct screening and diagnostic mammography studies in accordance with regulatory and clinical standards.
- Prepare and position patients for all imaging procedures providing clear explanations and supportive care.
- Start IVs and administer contrast when required following safety and ALARA principles.
- Maintain equipment readiness through routine checks and proper documentation.
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to support accurate interpretation and efficient workflow.
- Ensure all documentation patient records and imaging data meet compliance and quality requirements.
- Contribute to departmental quality improvement initiatives and uphold best practices in patient safety.
Qualifications
- ARRT certification in Radiography (R).
- ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT).
- Mammography certification or documented competency in mammography.
- Current BLS certification.
- Strong patient communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast paced clinical environment.
- Prior experience in both CT and mammography preferred but strong candidates with cross training interest may be considered.
