Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master for agile delivery teams within the healthcare domain.
This role requires a strong technical foundation deep understanding of Agile and SAFe practices and proven experience facilitating PI Planning and end to end Scrum ceremonies.
The candidate will act as a servant leader while remaining hands on with development when required. Key Responsibilities Scrum Master & Agile Leadership Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams in a healthcare environment.
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning Daily Stand ups Sprint Reviews Retrospectives and Backlog Refinement. Lead and actively support PI Planning including preparation dependency management risk identification and follow through. Coach teams on Agile / SAFe principles ensuring adherence to best practices and continuous improvement. Remove impediments manage risks and enable smooth sprint execution. Collaborate with Product Owners Release Train Engineers Architects and Stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities and delivery goals. Track and report Agile metrics (velocity burndown predictability sprint health).
Scrum Master experience - minimum 5 years in Healthcare domain Strong understanding of Agile and SAFe frameworks Hands on experience in PI Planning and Program level coordination Experience working with cross functional distributed teams Strong knowledge of SDLC Agile metrics and delivery governance Agile Certifications (Mandatory) Certified Scrum Master (CSM) / Advanced CSM SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or SAFe Agilist (SA) - preferred Any additional Agile / Lean certification is a plus Good to Have Skills Cloud platforms: AWS or Azure DevOps exposure: CI/CD Git Jenkins/Azure DevOps Healthcare systems knowledge (claims enrollment member provider workflows) Experience in regulated environments (HIPAA compliance awareness)
