Farm Labourer Collingwood NS
Bragg Lumber Company the worlds leading producer of Wild Blueberries and one of North Americas leading farming operators has six labourer positions available.
These positions start May 6 2026 and end October 1 2026. This is a five month full time seasonal position.
The pay $17.45/hour for 30 to 84 hours per week working early morning evenings days weekend and overtime required.
Workers are required to perform repetitive tasks involving lifting between twenty to fifty pounds frequently squatting and working long hours in support of wild blueberry farming. You will be caring for wild blueberry fields. You will be required to move bees loading an unload trucks applying chemicals pick rocks and operate tractors and other machinery. You will be cleaning equipment and weed wiping. Weed wiping uses a tool that looks like a hockey stick with a sponge on the end to wipe over plants.
Language requirements are exempt as this is a primary agriculture position.
There are no minimum education requirements.
Training will be provided.
There is no option to work remotely. Work must be completed at the physical location of 1536 Wyvern Road Collingwood Nova Scotia.
