About the role

We are looking for a Supervisor MEM Shutdowns to join our Pilbara Mine Operations. You will Lead mentor coach and develop the Mobile Shutdown team including providing regular performance feedback. Provide leadership in safely executing mobile equipment maintenance shutdown activities at a site level ensuring team performance is in line with short term objectives.

Reporting to the Superintendent MEM Shutdowns you will:

  • Adhere to all Rio Tinto standards policies and procedures
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying evaluating and implementing improvement opportunities utilising a range of Rio Tinto best practices
  • Collaborate closely with other functions and stakeholders in the performance of duties
  • Lead coach and develop a team of Maintenance personnel
  • Manage Maintenance activities to maximise productivity while minimising cost and environmental impact
  • Ensure compliance to relative legislation including statutory obligations
  • Allocate and coordinate planned maintenance activities using the Rio Tinto workflow management principles

  • A Current Western Australian C Class Drivers Licence (Manual)
