General Education Paraeducator (One-Year 2025-2026) Needed
Location: Charlotte Central School

Charlotte Central School (CCS)is seeking an energetic paraprofessional to join our school team for the remainder of FY26. We are looking for a skilled caring individual to assist supervise and provide support to all assigned students/groups as directed by a licensed professional. The candidate will be an advocate of inclusive education a problem-solver and strong collaborator and a positive team member. The ability to promote child growth foster independence and a willingness to learn are essential. Please note that lifting may be a requirement of this job.
Primary Responsibilities
- Supporting instructional activities (including behavioral instruction) developed and adjusted as required by a designated professional
- Collecting data to share with designated professional(s)
- Supervising students when assigned including lunch and recess and before/after school duties
- Fostering independence so that students can fully participate in school activities
- Communicate with appropriate educational personnel and related service providers
- Participate in team meetings upon request
- Provide support for students on bus route
- Provide substitute coverage as assigned
