Picture your first week
You walk the lines before shift change confirming machines are configured for the production plan. A sudden alarm pulls you to a presswithin minutes youve traced the issue swapped the failing component tested with your meter and dialed in the final adjustments. Later you return to a scheduled PM checklist documenting work from manuals and work orders and leaving the area spotless and safe.
Your impact
- Own the installation upkeep and reliability of production machinery and facility systems.
- Set up equipment for scheduled runs and validate performance through testing and calibration.
- Diagnose problems across mechanical hydraulic and electrical domains; repair test and optimize.
- Respond rapidly to breakdowns during production; complete preventive and corrective maintenance during planned downtime.
- Interpret technical documentation to plan and execute maintenance tasks.
- Use hand and power tools electric meters and material handling gear to complete work efficiently.
- Operate and repair forklifts safely and in compliance with procedures.
- Champion safety standards and maintain clean orderly work areas.
Skills youll apply
- Mechanical troubleshooting acumen.
- Experience with 120/208/240/480 volt electrical systems.
- Electrical fault-finding and repair skills.
- Comprehensive maintenance and repair capability on packaging and production equipment.
- Industrial electrical experience.
