Job Summary
Job Summary:
The purpose of the Coating Compounder is to be responsible for keeping latex mixed and ready for use. Confer with supervisor for the proper mix to make.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Check latex and raw materials.
- Prepare appropriate latex mix for the day.
- Wash the tank thoroughly before resuming the cycle.
- When a raw material arrives ensure it is placed in the correct holding tank.
- Keep a record of in and out weights of the bill.
- Keep a record of ingredients used in the mix on the Latex Log Sheet.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
Experience/Education Requirements:
- Must be able to read and write in English.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
- Proficient with computers and/or data entry skills
- Ability to stand bend stretch for long periods of time.
- Required to lift up to 50 pounds.
