Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Consumer Services Officer to join our community banking team at our office in Loysville PA. This role involves delivering exceptional customer service and supporting our clients in achieving their financial goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills a solid understanding of banking products and a commitment to fostering positive customer relationships.


Example of Some Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the consumer lending process
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of bank products and services to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions such as credit cards CDs loans and referrals to investment representatives
  • Open new personal and business accounts ensuring all documentation and procedures are correctly followed
  • Process deposits withdrawals loan payments cashiers checks and money orders accurately and efficiently
  • Supervise teller operations and support staff to ensure smooth branch functioning
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer information comply with all regulatory requirements (BSA/OFAC) and assist with daily branch operations

Core Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Specialized banking education and training preferred
  • 12 years of experience in customer service and cash handling normally required (banking experience preferred)
  • Proficiency in basic computer systems (Microsoft Office etc.)
  • Strong communication interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Management experience is a plus
  • Ability to obtain NMLS licensing may be required
