About the Clinic
An innovative ADHD clinic is seeking a collaborative patient-focused Psychiatrist to join their multidisciplinary team. This role supports a wide range of clinical presentations including ADHD Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and co-occurring conditions such as anxiety depression mood disorders and trauma.
In this role you will:
- Conduct psychiatric consultations (A195/K630) for adults as part of their assessment and treatment model
- Collaborate closely with psychologists and psychological associates as part of a comprehensive assessment process with shared clinical insight informing consensus diagnosis and recommendations
- Provide consultations independently based on referrals from primary care providers
- Provide short-term follow-up care for both new and returning patients
- Work both on-site at their Toronto clinic and remotely
All patients are referred by a primary care physician.
Requirements
- A collaborative mindset and genuine interest in multidisciplinary care
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Licensed and in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
- Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) in Psychiatry
- Authorized to work with adult populations (required)
- Experience working with ASD is considered an asset
Commitment & Compensation
- 1 day per week (68 hour clinic) with opportunity to increase
- Retain 100% of OHIP billings
- No clinic overhead fees
- $225/hour for non-OHIP-covered work (e.g. internal collaboration documentation)
- No-shows compensated at OHIP rates
- Comprehensive administrative support provided
- Retention Bonus:
- $2500 after 6 months
- $2500 after 12 months
