About the Role
As part of our continued international growth across Switzerland Malaysia and France we are strengthening our Legal and Corporate Governance function.
We are looking for a junior legal professional to support contract management corporate governance and compliance processes across several group entities.
Working closely across functions the role offers hands-on exposure to commercial contracts corporate governance and cross-border legal matters within an international company active in the
energy and infrastructure sectors.
This position offers a strong learning environment with progressive responsibility and exposure to multi-jurisdiction legal work.
Key Responsibilities
Contract & Legal Management
- Draft review and support the negotiation of consultancy contractor and subcontractor agreements
- Assist with consultancy and project-related agreements in the energy and infrastructure sectors
- Identify potential contractual risks and escalate complex matters where appropriate
- Support contract lifecycle management including documentation and compliance tracking
- Coordinate with external legal advisors when required
- Support the legal review of tender documentation and commercial proposals
- Assist in preparing contractual sections of bids in coordination with operational teams
Corporate Governance
- Support corporate documentation across group entities
- Assist in preparing board resolutions and governance documentation
- Coordinate statutory filings and corporate documentation where required
- Maintain corporate registers and legal document repositories
Legal Operations & Process Improvement
- Support the implementation and maintenance of legal and contract management tools
- Maintain contract approval workflows in line with internal governance processes
- Contribute to improving legal documentation management and governance procedures
Compliance & Policy Support
- Maintain and update governance and compliance documentation
- Support ISO and ESG documentation processes
- Track compliance deadlines and regulatory obligations
- Assist with insurance documentation coordination
Profile
- Bachelors degree in law (Swiss or EU qualification preferred); candidates holding a Masters degree with initial professional experience are also welcome
- Minimum 3 years experience in a law firm or in-house legal department
- Strong drafting and analytical skills in French and English
- Experience reviewing English-language commercial agreements is an asset
- Knowledge of Swiss corporate or contract law is a plus
- Exposure to international or cross-border matters is an advantage
- Structured detail-oriented and business-minded approach
