About the Role

This national leadership role is responsible for the growth development and implementation of key evidence-based programs across Australia and New Zealand.

You will lead a specialist team and work with internal and external partners to ensure high-quality faithful delivery of programs including:

  • Multisystemic Therapy (MST): an intensive family- and community-based program supporting young people engaging in significant at-risk behaviour to remain safely at home and reduce involvement in justice and child protection systems.
  • Youth Advocate Program (YAP): a strengths-based community-focused program delivered through Advocates (mentors) who provide intensive individualised support to young people who are transitioning out of the youth justice system or out of-home care.

This is a hybrid role with flexibility to work remotely combined with regular travel across Australia and New Zealand to support program implementation partnerships and training. This is a national position and can be based in anywhere in Australia.

Please note: Specific training and support in developing MST and YAP programs will be provided by the program developers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the MST Network Partnership of external stakeholders MST consultants and providers in Australia and New Zealand.
  • Lead national growth and expansion of MST and YAP across Australasia
  • Ensure program fidelity quality assurance and continuous improvement
  • Drive innovation implementation and evaluation of other evidence-based programs and practice including youth justice
  • Provide expert guidance on complex clinical and program matters
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government funders and sector partners

About You

  • Qualifications in psychology social work or a related field
  • Experience implementing evidence-based programs with fidelity requirements
  • Strong leadership stakeholder engagement and project management skills
  • Knowledge of youth justice and child protection systems
  • Experience in program design evaluation and continuous improvement
