Job Summary
Trade Assistant Offshore Oil Rig (Broome Region)
We are seeking motivated Trade Assistants to join our team on an offshore oil rig near Broome WA. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a dynamic work environment and supporting tradespeople in a critical operational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure tradespeople have immediate access to serviceable tools equipment and consumables.
- Manage and control tools in the Tool Store issuing items as requested by tradesmen.
- Maintain inventory and compliance with safety and site regulations.
- Assist with general site support as required.
- Adherance to STRICT WH&S regulations whilst on the Rig
Requirements:
- At least 6 months of offshore oil rig experience in the last 2 years.
- Current BOSIET certificate (or company will provide training if needed).
- Must pass a Safer Together Medical (or company will cover if needed).
- Previous BOSIET and/or Safer Together Medical signed off by Shell within the last 6 months will be highly advantageous.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work 3 weeks on / 1 week off roster offshore.
- Australian Rights to Work
Additional Details:
- Medicals to be undertaken mid April 2026
- Roster rotation beings 1st week May 2026
- Flights: Perth Broome (covered by the company).
- Transport from Broome to Oil Rig (covered by company)
- Pay: $45/hr casual day shift $59/hr casual night shift with true overtime not a flat rate.
- Medical and BOSIET course costs covered by the company if required.
