Job Description
As a Security Officer - Hospital Patrol Driver in Valencia CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location you will complete routine rounds stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents and respond to calls for assistance with professionalism and clear communication. This is a driving post so you will use a company vehicle as needed to support coverage across the campus. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including assisting with de-escalation coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas entrances parking areas and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points and public areas assist with visitor directions and check-in processes as assigned and help to maintain orderly movement through controlled doors and corridors.
- Complete detailed reports and logs communicate observations to onsite leadership and/or clinical teams as appropriate and support investigations of security-related incidents by preserving information and observations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Security Experience 2 Years is required.
- Hospital: Vaccines is required.
- Hospital: Morgue is required.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Hospital: Restrain Individuals is required.
- 2 Years Service in Healthcare/MedicalRelated Field is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
