03/27/20269050 N Church DriveParma HeightsOhio44129United States of AmericaDaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. As a PCT youll provide direct hands-on care under RN supervision helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment.
Some details about this position:
Operational Hours: M-S 4:00am - 7:30pm rotational scheduling (schedule can fluctuate depending on patient census)
Hours of work may vary during the orientation/training period
PCTs expected shifts for this clinic: 3-4 days/week with a minimum of two Saturdays/month and can be asked to start as early as 4:00 am.
Hours of work may vary during the training period; however you will typically be working between 32-40 hours per week during training
You must have a flexible schedule and be able to work mornings evenings weekends and holiday
Clinic has 17 chairs and will have 1-2 RNs and 4 PCTS scheduled per shift (depending on census)

Reimbursement for your Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT) license
Key Responsibilities
Deliver safe hygienic and compassionate dialysis care
Monitor patients before during and after treatment
Set up and maintain dialysis equipment
Record vital signs and patient data
Educate patients on treatment and kidney health
Collaborate with nurses dietitians social workers and other care team members
Dependability willingness to learn and fun personalities are crucial for our patients
Requirements
High school diploma or GED
Comfortable around blood needles and medical equipment
Physically able to work long shifts on your feet
Willing to float between local clinics if needed
Flexible schedule including mornings evenings weekends and holidays
Preferred: CNA MA CHT phlebotomy certification or healthcare experience
