Job Summary

JOB DETAILS

Pay: $18-20

Shift: 1st Shift

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Painters are responsible for all aspects of painting metal including set up operation inspection and material handling activities. Painters are expected to work in a safe productive and cooperative manner in accordance with Cornerstone Building Brands policies and procedures.

Quality Control: Inspecting paint finishes to ensure adherence to quality standards.

Equipment Maintenance: Cleaning and maintaining spray painting equipment.

Safety: Following safety procedures and wearing appropriate protective gear.

Material Management: Mixing matching and managing inventory of paints solvents and other materials.

Production Processes: Understanding and following manufacturing specifications and processes.

Problem Solving: Identifying and addressing issues related to the painting process.

Inventory Control: Tracking daily usage of paints thinners and other solvents.

Paint Application: Applying paint varnish or other finishes using spray guns brushes rollers or other tools.
Additional Duties: Complete all tasks as assigned by department leadership

Qualifications :

Previous manufacturing and/or painting experience preferred
Must be able to read write and perform basic math skills as job duties require
Must possess common sense positive attitude and demonstrate excellent attendance
Must be quality and safety conscious a team player
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis
Must have good verbal and written communication skills and be able to interact with people
Extensive standing frequent bending sitting lifting pulling pushing reaching twisting and walking
Required personal protective equipment overhead crane carts dollies and some hand tools
Safe work performance is required from each Associate at all times
