Job Purpose |
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our data architecture team at Hindalco. This role will work with a fast-paced team to create the data technology stack and architecture that can be used to deliver end-user insights through various data products and to drive digital product strategies. As a Data Engineer you will be responsible for designing building and maintaining scalable data pipelines ensuring that data is accessible reliable and efficiently integrated into various systems across the organization. You will work closely with data scientists data analysts and other stakeholders to facilitate data-driven decision-making across the business. You will also develop ways to optimize data technologies to shape our data architecture and digital strategy. |

Data integration and pipeline development | - Integrate data from disparate data sources such as APIs databases flat files and real-time systems.
- Design build and maintain scalable ELT / ETL pipelines for extracting transforming and loading data from various sources into Azure data lake.
- Combine Azure cloud services and write software code for data movement

Data management architecture and modeling | - Define and implement the data management patterns such as medallion in Azure ADLS.
- Combine data into clean enriched datasets to support analytics reporting and machine learning.
- Basis understanding of business processes and requirements create logical and physical data model.
- Implement data warehousing solutions applying design principles like Star Schema or Snowflake Schema or data vault schema.

Data quality assurance governance and security | - Implement processes for data validation cleansing and deduplication to ensure the quality and accuracy of data.
- Establish data quality checks and monitoring systems for early detection of issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues ensuring data integrity.

Performance monitoring troubleshooting and Optimization | - Optimize data pipelines for speed and performance particularly when handling large-scale datasets.

End-to-end Delivery of Data product(s) | - Follow the approach of DevOps to build and release end to end data solutions that integrate seamlessly with applications and workflows.
