As a Security Officer Patrol Monitor in Portland TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location where you will monitor assigned areas conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents and support personnel with outstanding customer service and a caring culture built on teamwork integrity agility reliability and innovation you will play an important role in daily operations.

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel visitors and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities in a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings operational areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify entry and exit activity in accordance with location protocols while reporting concerns hazards and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Support site operations by completing assigned reports maintaining a visible presence and following post orders for an unarmed patrol role in an industrial environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A current guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
