Job Description
As a Security Officer Patrol Technician in Hackensack NJ you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a premier retail location where you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and deliver exceptional customer service. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients visitors and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
- Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and report details according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor entrances stockroom areas common areas and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
- Monitor access points and high-traffic areas observe customer and visitor activity and communicate with store leadership and/or Allied Universal management regarding security-related concerns.
- Support closing and opening procedures assist with crowd management during peak business periods and help maintain an orderly environment for customers and staff.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
