General Summary
Performs diversified and confidential administrative duties. Requires an intermediate degree of technical and communications/interpersonal skills knowledge and ability. May administer/coordinate programs projects and/or processes as assigned.
ResponsibilitiesDuties and Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
- Composes from dictation and documents memorandums policies committee minutes manuals letters forms procedures and other general typing as directed initiating other correspondence as appropriate.
- Answers telephones routes callers takes messages and provides routine information to callers.
- Schedules appointments; maintains and updates daily calendar(s).
- Schedules coordinates and/or arranges meetings appointments and/or facilities. Attends meetings and records minutes as required.
- Collects information needed by leader or team for conferences and/or reports.
- Sets up and maintains files and records which may contain confidential information.
- Takes and transcribes dictation of a highly confidential nature.
- Compiles data for and prepares regularly scheduled or special reports analyzes and statements.
- Enters and/or retrieves data from established computer files or cloud-based systems using knowledge of various computer software applications.
- Opens and routes incoming mail; distributes correspondence and other material to staff.
- Administers/coordinates programs projects and/or processes as assigned.

- Orders office supplies as necessary.
- Greets and directs visitors.
