We are currently seeking a dedicated and efficient Tools Sorter to join our team in Durban. As a Tools Sorter you will be responsible for organizing and sorting tools and equipment in our warehouse. This includes inspecting tools for any damages or defects cleaning and maintaining them and ensuring they are stored in the correct location for easy retrieval. You will also be responsible for keeping accurate records of inventory and reporting any shortages or damages to the warehouse manager. The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment with a strong attention to detail and organization skills. You should also have a good understanding of different types of tools and how to properly handle and store them. A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently are also important qualities for this role. Responsibilities: - Inspect tools for any damages or defects - Clean and maintain tools to ensure they are in good working condition - Sort and organize tools into their designated locations in the warehouse - Keep accurate records of inventory and report any shortages or damages to the warehouse manager - Assist in the loading and unloading of tools and equipment from delivery trucks - Follow all safety protocols and procedures while handling tools and equipment - Communicate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and organization in the warehouse Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment - Knowledge of different types of tools and how to properly handle and store them - Strong attention to detail and organization skills - Ability to work independently and efficiently - Good communication and teamwork skills - Basic computer skills to maintain inventory records - Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects - Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a warehouse setting If you are a hardworking and reliable individual with a passion for organization and tools we encourage you to apply for this position.
