Job Summary
JOB DESCRIPTION:
MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE
- Responsible for maintenance and repair services of mechanical and electrical manufacturing systems.
- Evaluates selects and orders equipment that is most appropriate and cost effective for the manufacture of company products.
- Oversees the installation modification upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
- Monitors repairs and maintains production equipment to ensure continuous production.
- Provides mechanical and/ or electrical repair.
- Responsible for repair preventative maintenance data management project support control support and ISO audits support.
- Maintains current records on equipment manufacturers technical notices upgrades and safety issues.
- Studies equipment performance and reliability.
- Responsible for equipment maintenance (corrective preventive predictive) of plant equipment in comply with the Site Safety and GMP procedures.
- Complete 3C (Concern cause and corrective action) for every corrective/demand maintenance of plant equipment.
- Perform either 12-hours rotating shift or Non-shift works.
- Support operation (day/ night shift) if needed.
- Support the equipment qualification such as walkdown punch list commissioning IQ/ OQ/ PQ on any new project.
- Execution of work order and record job performed via MAXIMO system.
- Lead contractor vendors and service providers to perform maintenance works.
- Take part in continuous improvement efforts/ projects or JDI.
Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in Pharmaceutical/ Food/ Petrochemical/ Chemical/ Nutritional preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge on lean six sigma kaizen and Kanban.
Qualifications
- ITC/ NITEC/ Diploma in Engineering/ Mechanical or related discipline or GCE N/ O/ A Level with at least 1 to 3 years of experience.
