Job Title: Senior Platform Engineer

Job Description:
As the sole Platform Engineer you will own Kyckrs Azure ecosystem end-to-end managing complex infrastructure that sources real-time data from 300 registries globally. Youll drive the modernization of legacy systems while scaling a new Registry Hub architecture ensuring reliability and security for a high-profile client base of banks and fintechs.

Location: Remote UK

What you will do:

Manage and evolve Azure Landing Zone architecture using Terraform and Bicep for application services like Functions APIM and Service Bus.
Oversee the Kubernetes cluster orchestrating high-scale web scraping infrastructure and maintain over 33 YAML-based Azure DevOps pipelines.
Lead platform security and governance by enforcing RBAC Azure Policy and Managed Identities to meet rigorous fintech compliance standards.

The ideal candidate:

58 years of hands-on Platform Engineering experience with deep expertise in core Azure services and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/Bicep).
Proven track record in Kubernetes administration container orchestration and managing complex CI/CD environments within Azure DevOps.
Strong security mindset and independent problem-solving skills capable of communicating technical trade-offs clearly to a distributed international engineering team.
