A Senior Data Scientist plays a key role in leveraging data to drive business decisions develop predictive models and solve complex problems.
Job Description
- Advanced Analytics & Modeling Develop and implement machine learning models and statistical algorithms.
- Data Strategy & Insights Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights for business optimization.
- Collaboration & Leadership Work with cross-functional teams to align data initiatives with business goals.
- Big Data Processing Utilize tools like Hadoop Spark and cloud platforms for large-scale data analysis.
- Data Governance & Security Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.
- Mentorship & Guidance Support junior data scientists and contribute to knowledge-sharing within the team.
Required Skills
- Expertise in machine learning deep learning and AI algorithms.
- Strong proficiency in Python R SQL and data visualization tools.
- Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop Spark TensorFlow).
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS Azure GCP).
- Advanced understanding of statistical analysis and predictive modeling.
- Ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Educational Requirements
- A bachelors degree in data science computer science mathematics or a related field.
- A masters degree or Ph.D. is often preferred for senior roles.
