Job Summary
Job brief
The ideal Senior Computer Operator will be responsible for completing daily data processing updates of confidential customer data.
Responsibilities
- Information Distribution - responsible for printing retrieving separating and examining hardcopy reports and customer notices and
dispatching them in a secure and confidential manner to intended recipients - Core Systems & Peripheral Equipment Operation
- Incident / Problem Management - promptly detects and responds appropriately to problems with any monitored systems
functioning as 1st level support by trouble-shooting all such
anomalies and issues - IT Service Continuity Management
- Systems Availability Monitoring Alerts Response and Reporting - monitors all networks servers systems and other core applications to preserve confidentiality reliability availability and integrity of all systems and information.
- Ensuring minimal downtime and timely and detailed logging and escalation of issues and anomalies to management and support as necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Software Engineering Information Technology or related field
- Between 1 and 3 years of experience in software engineering and/or ICT
- Experience in Database Management Operation
- Proficient in object-oriented development
- Able to effectively and quickly adapt new technology
- Good communication skills
