Job Summary

JOB DESCRIPTION

Systems Administrator Kingston Jamaica (in office) -

We are seeking a highly motivated energetic passionate system Administrator.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Installing and configuring computer hardware software systems networks printers and scanners
Ensure security and efficiency of IT infrastructure
Identify system requirements and install upgrades
Identify cyber security threats
Schedule and manage regular backups to prevent data loss
Ensure data integrity by periodically testing restore processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve system problems to minimize downtime
Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
Providing technical support to users
Create modify and delete user accounts as needed - emails addition to intranet systems PBX
Test and deploy patches to minimize disruption to users.
Liaising with Group IT team to resolve issues
Liaising with the vendors to resolve issues
Supporting IT Admin related tasks in other branches

Qualifications:

BSc. Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology / Computer or Electronic Engineering and CRISCO A

5 CSEC OLevels passes inclusive of computer technology Mathematics and Information Technology

2-3 year working experience in a similar role
