Job Summary
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 8 years of AutoCAD design experience
- 4 years of Revit design experience
- 5 years of industrial building mechanical design experience
- Strong working knowledge of U.S. Mechanical Codes specifically the International Mechanical Code (IMC).
- Demonstrated ability to independently execute design packages with minimal supervision
- **Candidate must be able to report to the Tempe office 2 days per week.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in complex industrial environments such as semiconductor manufacturing cleanrooms data centers or other advanced manufacturing facilities.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Technical or Associates degree in a relevant discipline
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Advanced problem-solving planning and analytical skills
Responsibilities:
Were looking for a Senior HVAC Design Technician who can step in and contribute this role youll collaborate with multidisciplinary design and engineering teams to lead the development of complex industrial HVAC and Process Exhaust systems for advanced facilities.
You will be responsible for:
- Lead design layout and routing of industrial building mechanical systems
- Develop P&IDs plans sections and construction details
- Perform design tasks across planning concept and detailed design
- Coordinate directly with clients contractors and internal disciplines
- Apply expert knowledge of building mechanical systems and codes to ensure quality and accuracy
