Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Graphic Designer to join our team full time. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for design and a keen eye for detail. They will be responsible for creating visually appealing and effective designs for our salons marketing materials social media platforms and website.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and produce various marketing materials including flyers brochures posters and advertisements to promote our salon and its services
- Create engaging and eye-catching graphics for our social media platforms including Instagram Facebook and Twitter
- Design and maintain our salons website ensuring it is visually appealing and user-friendly
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement creative strategies to enhance our brand
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques and incorporate them into our designs
- Work closely with the salons stylists and makeup artists to create graphics for their portfolios and promotional materials
- Manage and maintain the salons brand image and ensure consistency across all designs
- Attend photoshoots and assist with creating visuals for our salons campaigns and promotions
- Communicate and collaborate with external vendors and printers to ensure quality and timely production of materials
- Manage and organize design files and assets for easy access and use by the team
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Graphic Design or related field
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in graphic design preferably in the beauty or fashion industry
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop Illustrator and InDesign
- Strong understanding of design principles typography and color theory
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work within tight deadlines
- Knowledge of social media platforms and their design requirements is a plus
- Experience with website design and development is a plus
