Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Patrol with Active Clearance in Manassas VA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following site-specific procedures access protocols and security-related policies at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including emergency response activities and detailed reporting.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings data-sensitive areas parking areas and perimeter locations remaining observant for unusual activity and potential concerns.
- Serve in an armed post in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site instructions using sound judgment during elevated situations and when contacting local responders and/or site leadership.
- Monitor entry and exit activity verify credentials and/or visitor information and help to deter unauthorized access theft and policy violations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
- Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- Possess baton certification preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
