Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled Travel Echo Technologist to deliver high-quality echocardiography services for adult and geriatric this role you will collaborate with cardiologists to produce accurate diagnostic imaging while ensuring exceptional patient care in a dynamic clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform echocardiography studies including 2D M-Mode and Doppler (pulse/continuous wave and color Doppler)
- Gather patient history prepare and position patients and select appropriate imaging techniques
- Generate diagnostic-quality images and provide preliminary findings
- Assist physicians with advanced procedures including transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE)
- Respond to urgent and emergency imaging needs
- Maintain accurate documentation patient records and charge capture
- Ensure exam rooms and equipment are clean stocked and properly maintained
- Adhere to established lab protocols and accreditation standards
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives and compliance activities
- Communicate effectively with patients providers and team members in a fast-paced setting
Qualifications
- RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) certification required
- Minimum 12 years of echocardiography experience
- BLS certification required
- Strong organizational communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
