Ideal candidates for this role with have prior heart of the house dishwashing experience the ability to work independently and the ability to problem solve as well as time management skills and who ensure that wares for the restaurant are clean and sanitized according to health and safety guidelines.. This position has the potential to be scheduled between the hours of 6am and 11pm availability for weekends and holidays is required based on the various schedule of events.
This is a seasonal or flex position based on events at the property.
Key Requirements/ Qualifications:
- Ability to work with little supervision and focused in a noisy fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand for long period of time and perform repetitive motions.
- Ability to push/pull/bend/lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally and up to 10 lbs.
- frequently.
- Must be at least 18 years of age or minimum age to work in a kitchen environment in accordance with state/local laws.
- Flexible schedule to meet business needs.
- Detail-orientated individual who is able to focus on maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Ability to maintain a composed approachable and professional attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Washes all wares including pots plans flatware and glasses by hand or using dishwashers.
- Correctly places and stores clean equipment dishes and utensils in assigned storage areas.
- Stocks serving stations cupboards refrigerators and other assigned areas with necessary dishes and utensils.
- Cleans trash receptacles with water or steam.
- Moves dishwashing supplies and equipment from storage to work area by hand or using hand trucks.
- May assist in cleaning and preparing various foods for cooking and/or serving as directed.
- Ensures work areas remain safe clean and orderly adhering to all company local and state guidelines regarding health safety and sanitation.
This position is subject to successful completion of a background check as it relates to the responsibilities of the role.
