This armed and driving post combines access control duties with visible presence routine activity around assigned areas and strong communication with visitors and staff. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors employees and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures identification checks and entry and exit screening at a government location.
• Monitor entrances lobbies gates and/or restricted areas to help support authorized access document visitor activity and report unusual or suspicious behavior.
• Respond to incidents alarms and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner following post orders and emergency response protocols as appropriate.
• Communicate with site contacts staff and/or the public regarding access procedures credentials deliveries and visitor directions while maintaining professional conduct.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around access points the business and perimeter areas as required by the location noting conditions that may require security-related attention.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement military and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Provide proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
