BNBMC is looking to hire paid summer interns across a broad field of functions. Salary is $16.50/hour. We can provide up to 40 hours per week work schedules. Come join our winning team for the Summer of 2026!
Assigned Duties and Tasks:
Assist with the BNBMC Respiratory Program including: Scheduling and perform N95 fit tests document the results respond to questions and update the system.
Conduct routine Environment of Care (EOC) rounds document findings input the findings obtain work orders to complete and then follow up to ensure abatement of the findings.
Perform Safety & Ergonomic training including; Fire extinguisher use - RACE/PASS; Active shooter for all related departments.
Assist with managing Johnson Controls (JCI) performing daily testing of all components of the BNBMC Fire alarm system including monitoring the Central system for alarm codes and documentation of the results and follow up with any deficiencies and update the Life Safety binders.
Support supervisor with inspection of Fire/Smoke doors for compliance with NFPA standards document and abate findings.
Support supervisor with identifying fire/smoke barriers and perform above ceiling inspections document and abate findings.
Assist/Develop BNBMC Sustainability committee and initiatives including hosting events such as Earth Day.
Education
Must have completed at least Freshman year of College/Trade School.
